Jessica Supports Local Manufacturer 07 November 2011

Jessica visited the Bisley Office Furniture factory in Newport to show her support to local manufacturing firms, who proudly produces items from the UK. Jess was honoured to sponsor a product made by Bisley for the ‘Made by Britain’ prize. The sponsored product, the Glide, has made the shortlist of the award and the winner will be announced on the 29^th November.

Jessica “We need to promote manufacturing across the country and it is essential that MPs across the political divide support local manufacturing firms. It was a real pleasure to support the Glide product and to walk around the Bisley factory meeting the workers. We have had Bisley in Newport since the 1930s and I will do all I can to make sure it stays in the area.”
