John Griffiths AM (Labour - Newport East)
Born in 1956, John studied law as a mature student at the University of Wales, Cardiff before going on to practise as a solicitor specialising in criminal law, personal injury and general civil litigation. He is a former councillor on Gwent County Council and Newport County Borough Council. He is a member of the Co-operative Party, the Workers' Educational Association and the ISTC trade union.

Lynn Glaister- Constituency Office Manager
Lynn has a wide range of experience in managerial and organisational roles. She worked with the Prudential Assurance Co Ltd for 22 years as an underwriting and call centre manager and laterly as an NVQ and Trainers Qualifications Assessor. Most recently she has been working an Organiser for Welsh Labour.
Lynn is responsible for running the Constituency Office, organising Jessica’s constituency diary and dealing with queries and issues raised by constituents.
Tony Jermyn - Caseworker
Tony is based in Newport and joined the team following many years service in the Welsh Office/Welsh Assembly Government and then local authority and voluntary sectors. Tony is responsible for dealing with queries and complaints raised by constituents and assisting the public in accessing advice and services. He is also responsible for communication activities in respect of Jessica's website and the media.
Dimitri Batrouni - Research Assistant
Dimitri is based in London and is responsible for dealing with all policy correspondence and campaigns. He is also responsible for organising tours of the House of Commons.
David Collins - Constituency Assistant
David is based in Newport and provides general administrative and IT assistance to the constituency office.
